Thank you!!

I want to thank all of the supporters, the speakers & entertainment for helping make this event a success, the vendors, and the attendees who have joined our efforts for 2008 & 2009. We are truly blessed!

It is still hard to believe a simple e-mail from my friend Jill would have lead to doing something so awesome to help others. We do this for Riley McCarthy (Jill's daughter) who was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 4. We are so proud of Riley and want to do what we can to support the cause and help to find a cure for her and others who suffer from type 1 diabetes. It is with the support of others that this is possible and that Riley can see hope for the future.

1 Corinthians 15:58 "Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or event".

Thank you all for giving of your time and donating to an awesome cause - JDRF Thanks you and the children and adults suffering from diabetes thank you!
The fruit of the spirit is what we all strive for in life ....love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control.

I hope to have done a good job organizing these events in order to serve those with juvenile diabetes and others who simply love to scrapbook. I am so proud of you for joining us in this manner to celebrate this needed cause.

I really believe in the impact of memories and can't think of a better way to support families dealing with the disease than to raise money, awareness and bring comfort! We create scrapbooks to preserve those memories... We can't reverse the disease so our best strategy is to make life as enjoyable as possible and cherish every moment – the old and the new! I empathize with any family that is living with this disease and pray that through our efforts as fund-raisers that we might bring about a better understanding, further the knowledge, determine better treatment, offer a better quality of life, and finally find a CURE for (Type 1-Juvenile, and Type 2) Diabetes patients and their loving families.

2009 Reviews from Attendees

Amy Jones - I just wanted to let you know that we had a really good time today. Thank you for all of your hard work. It really showed in how great the event was. We really look forward to this event as it's usually the only time we scrap away from home. If you get a chance, I was wondering if you could email me a few photos that you took right before the event started. I didn't know if you had taken them with your camera or with someone else's. I am also planning on contacting Angie Davis for pictures. Again, thank you so much for your hard work!

Sarah and Jill, Ya'll did an awesome job! This was my first year but I certainly hope not my last. I look forward to next year! Thanks Jennifer Haynes

You guys did a fantastic job Sarah!! I know it was a lot of hard work to get this thing pulled off. I had a great time and got a lot done and am so happy so much was raised for JDRF! Count me in for next year’s event! I’m sure I’ll see you around Lakeview soon ~Jana Wood

Thanks for letting me set up Pinky Delicious at the event. I learned alot from being there and got to meet alot of great people. It's amazing what the mother and child have to go through with this disease along with all the other members of the family. I hope you where able to reach your goal. It was a very worth while cause and I am grateful to have been a art of it all. It makes you so thankful to have healthy children...All the best, Kimberly Hayes

Sarah,Thank you again for your compassionate heart and for sharing your time and talent!! Melanie Brewer

Thank you all so much for your attendance, donations to JDRF and your support of this cause! We can now cherish and preserve this memory!

We have made it through the second annual Crop Out Diabetes event at Old Hickory Country Club yesterday! It was such a great day. I want to thank all the speakers who did such an awesome job, the Old Hickory Country Club for the service and the atmosphere, Linda Davis for the wonderful entertainment, and the persons who donated to this awesome cause! We are all truly blessed! JDRF thanks you all!
Jill and I intend to do this again next year
so be the first to say you will join us 2-6-2010!!
We are so pleased and excited to say that we have raised almost $2700.00 in 2009! We will need to work hard to secure monetary donations for next years event that we have depleted on this years event. We do not have the final numbers but this is the approximate monetary donation in full that this years event has been able to pass along to JDRF! We still expect some last minute donations. We feel so Blessed to have done this and taken part in such an awesome fundraising opportunity. We hope you all had lots of fun and until next year...
Happy Scrapping & God Bless you all!
Sincerely,
Sarah and Jill
Giving my best to help you attain yours...
